about us mission

Donate Glasses to TWECS

Collecting used eyeglasses and preparing for eye care projects in the Third World is the focus of TWECS.

TWECS teams travel to developing countries and provide basic eye care and distribute recycled eyeglasses to the poor.

Through the passage of many hands in eye clinics, optical stores, churches, and service clubs like the Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs and the Knights of Columbus, donated eyeglasses reach the TWECS warehouse. A space generously donated by the Burnaby-Lougheed Lions Club to accommodate the Monday night volunteers and the tens of thousands of used eyeglasses.
